Savannah

I was raised in the Indianapolis area by a family filled with a deep love for and committment to Jesus. My faith really became my own when I was 15, soon after which I started feeling a strong call to vocational ministry. I ended up graduating from Grace College and Theological Seminary in 2015 with a degree in youth ministry, after which I immediately got married to my favorite person and now-husband, Spencer. We now have two feisty and hilarious daughters, Clara (born 2017) and Ettalynn (born 2019), and we all love to have fun together!

I have been serving in church and leading in musical worship in a variety of contexts for over 13 years. I am passionate about facilitating corporate worship and discipleship for God’s people through music, small groups, and whole church ministry. From behind the scenes planning and relationship building to leading on stage, pointing people to who God is and what He has done through Jesus with excellence, faithfulness, humility and authenticity is my highest priority. I want to see His people encouraged and equipped for ministry in day to day life through the experience of His love and truth of His Word.

I believe that the purpose of music in the church is to incorporate the musical and spiritual gifts of the body of Christ to facilitate an atmosphere that encourages corporate expression of our satisfaction and hope in Jesus in a way that convicts the spirit and impacts the heart with the truth of God’s word for the glory of God and the edification of His people.

Ministry has always felt like more of a privilege than a job for me, and I feel so very blessed to serve and be a part of this Crossroads family.
