Chicagoland Fall Retreat and More!

This is the Chicagoland Leadership Team at one of our bi-weekly meetings where we pray, dream, and discern about ministry in Chicagoland. I get the privilege of supervising Aaron, Katie, and Melissa as they supervise the rest of the Area staff. Please pray for us as we lead Chicagoland.

Pictured here is one of the seminars students went to at CFR. They could choose between Sharing the Gospel, Intimacy with Jesus, Faith & Politics, or Dealing with Anxiety. Students loved the real-world applications from God’s Word to their lives. Please pray that students will put into action what God taught them at CFR.

This is most of the Chicagoland staff team at Fall Retreat (CFR). It was a joy to see each of them use their gifts in unique ways to serve students. The retreat was a great success because of their hard work and God going before us! Please pray for this growing staff team.

Over 80 students attended CFR and spent the day in Matthew chapters 5 & 7, learning how to make Jesus their foundation. Almost every student made some kind of faith-deepening decision and received prayer ministry! Please pray for students considering other retreat and conference opportunities this year, that they will be open to God’s leading.

Family Update

AJ received his First Communion this month (pictured above)! As I’ve witnessed college students work their way through the school year this fall, we’ve done the same as a family. We’ve had lots of sports, music, academics, and more, and quite honestly, our kids are thriving! We are thankful to God for all his blessings and for your partnership in that. Thank you!
