Dear Crossroad Community Church,

Receive my greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you very much for your continued support towards my ministry here South Africa.  Your support is much appreciated.

I am continuing to serve as a pastor in a church planting context.  We now have four fellowship centres that we hope to grow into full local churches.  However, we are still facing some changing some leadership challenges amongst ourselves that has brought a delay in this work.

I continue to lead the Iyani Heidelberg Institute and Theological Seminary as a principal.  The institution trains lay leaders, the church’s general membership, and theological students.  After Covid-19 this year we had a very successful Vacation Bible School of 9-16 years old.  Two of our theological students are to be ordained this year as ministers of the Word.  We put up a capital budget to renovate dilapidated buildings of the Bible School of R1,5 million.  We must raise this money within the churches and our partners.

Thank you very much for your prayers and financial support in 2023.

When you continue to pray for us, pray for the following:

Thanksgiving:

  1. Thank God for the faith that parents have on the institution for faith formation of their children through our VBS program.
  2. Thank God for his help in my leadership of the church and the educational institution.
  3. Thank God for the unity and well-being of my family.

Request:

  1. That we can plant four churches in the second part of 2023.
  2. Governance and Management of the educational institution
  3. Unity in vision among church leaders.
  4. Continued support of the ministry.
  5. For our fundraising drive that it may bear fruits so that we can renovate these building
